I know this diptych is… a lot. But I had so much fun making it and really think it turned out well. I especially like the 1950s Kodachrome photo of a woman wading in the ocean.
I created the left side first and meant for it to be a stand alone piece. But I had the right half of a bowl, and I hated to waste it. So a diptych it became. I call these collages “moving still lifes” because of the movement and energy created by the colors and patterns.
