“God bless thy branches…Though hast lived before…Thow ancient friendly, failthful…” These are some lines that I can read from the vintage composition book that I found the other day. The author was a very good student, that’s for sure, but I don’t know anything else about him or her. I imagine it’s a girl, but I can’t put my finger on why. The handwriting?
This collage has three elements that I really like. I’ve been meaning to make an elephant ear plant for a while now, and this was my chance to do it. The other item in this still life is the composition notebook that the homework came from. And last, is a rendition of a 1800s tintype of a little boy. I know nothing about him either, but I like the cut of his jib. He looks like a good boy.
