I don’t often get ideas for new series, but when I do it’s a great feeling. So this is something new- a collage that’s based on the transparent plastic shapes that I used to play with as a kid.
The idea is to make sort of Mid-Century Modern shapes that change color where they overlap. It is a style that I’ve seen before, but this difference is that the paper changes where the shapes meet. Pretty neat, right?
