This is a medium-sized giclée print on heavy archival matte paper.
The original is made from patterned paper and ink-painted 1920s ledger paper
This collage is a riot of color and pattern, but believe it or not, it’s based on a real still life. I was looking at the bowls I use for my food blog, www.ResolutionEats.com. It might seem like a random collection of paper, but it actually takes quite a long time to decide on which ones to use and which ones to leave out. Then I need to make sure that the shapes make sense together and move your eyes around the picture. So it’s seemingly simple but requires a bit of time to design.
