Chapter 58 | Shadow Box Cat Print

A black cat stretches long and low, tail raised and mouth open in a small yawn. This print reproduces an original collage built from antique paper ephemera. The background is a mid-century textured cream wallpaper with a raised white pattern. Below, a strip of paper washed in soft violet reads “Chapter No. 58” in ornate old type. It comes from the 1910 meeting minutes of a fraternal lodge. The cat is cut from black-and-gold patterned paper, with a mosaic collar and ears.
