Commissions
I love working with collectors and interior designers to create commissioned works of art. I take old recipes, report cards, children's art, and other meaningful family papers and create heirloom collages from them. These pieces are a beautiful way to remember family members who have passed.
Every commission is one of a kind. Pricing depends on size, complexity, and materials.
Original paper collages range from $2,000 to $8,000.
I also create digital collages. These can be printed as fine art prints, in as many editions as you would like. Digital collages range from $800 to $1,500.
How It Works
- We start with a call. We'll talk through the papers you have and the family members you want a visual daily memory for. I'll also ask which of my collages resonate with you, whether that's florals, landscapes, or still lifes.
- Once I have a sense of the materials and the graphic direction, I take possession of the family papers. For a digital collage, I scan them. For a handmade layered paper collage, I cut and arrange the originals.
- I send digital mock-ups of the design, and together we decide what will look best in your space.
- Once we agree on the design, the collage takes 4 to 6 weeks to create.
- Size depends on where the piece is going. Collages generally range from 8x10 inches up to a maximum of 60x60 inches.
