“Handwritten Sea Moonscape” Print

This is a large giclée print on heavy archival matte paper.

The original is made from 1875 railway ledger paper with 1940s spelling workbook and patterned paper

I wasn’t sure if moonscape was a real word, but there are landscapes and cloudscapes, so I thought, “Why not?”.  Turns out I was right!  Moonscapes are a thing in the world.

And this collage is my take on the idea.  I have been doing so many chaotic collages lately, I thought I’d slow down and make something restful.  This work is meant for bedrooms.  Don’t you feel sleepy already?
