This is a large giclée print on heavy archival matte paper.
The original is made from blueprints, ink-washed 1940s architectural lettering homework, ink-washed 1800s ledgers.
It’s a freezing snowy day and I’m writing this from my studio. Brrrrrrr! My studio in in a sunroom, which has beautiful light through three walls of windows but gets bitterly cold in the winter.
So I’m dressed up in my muck-a-lucks and winter coat thinking about warm weather. And how better to celebrate the sun than a collage of oranges? I love the how the oranges compliment the blue of the blueprints. This one makes me happy on a cold wintry day.
