Party Animal | Framed 8×10 inch Cat Print

A black cat walks with purpose across a page of old business records. This print reproduces an original collage built from antique and vintage paper ephemera. The background is an 1873 ledger page headed “Pinkerton Houser & Becker,” with columns for “Other Parties Liable,” “When Due,” and “When Paid.” Below, a strip of pink Central of Georgia Railway round-trip party tickets from 1973 forms the ground. The cat is cut from black-and-gold patterned paper, with a mosaic collar at the neck.

The papers were made exactly one hundred years apart. The cat strides between them, linking two eras of commerce and travel. It suits an entry, a study, or a gift for a cat lover who enjoys a bit of history.
