1910 Appraisal Ledger
Got something wondrous in the mail yesterday.
I received a 1910 land appraisal ledger, and boy, is it a beauty! In addition to the information that you would expect from a ledger like this, it contained something so special.
A child had gotten a hold of the ledger at some point and made this exuberant drawing of a flying plane. And then an adult came in and drew a detailed picture of a plane.
Maybe he drew it for the child? Maybe the child grew up and drew the plane? Paper ephemera holds so many mysteries!
