This is a large giclée print on heavy archival matte paper.
The original is made from patterned paper, 1880s ink-washed ledger paper, and Free Mason meeting minutes
This collage is humming with energy. And I found something very special in my big book of Free Mason committee meeting minutes. I found several pages of notes written in purple ink. I used these special papers as the background of the collage.
The the shapes of the piece have a Mid-Century Modern feel to them. They are made from a mix of ink-washed antique ledger paper and new decorative papers. I am especially fond of the faux wood printed paper. But the other patterned paper is not too shabby either.
