This is a large giclée print on heavy archival matte paper.

The original is made from blueprints, 1940s homework, 1880s ledger paper, contemporary patterned paper and chalk paint painted paper

This colorful collage has all my favorite papers in it.  Blueprints, ledgers, homework, patterns, it has all of it.  And the shape is one that I come back to again and again.  Remember in Close Encounters when Richard Dreyfus keeps making art with the same forms?  It’s like that.

This work is also in my favorite picture from my solo art show in March of 2024.  I love that it shows people studying the art, and gives a sense of the scale.  When I show it to people who have only ever seen digital images of my work, they are always surprised by the size.  They’re really quite big!
